Raising Kids If I had to sum up my values in one sentence, I would say that I try to live my life with integrity, honesty and a positive outlook. I believe in a higher power and that ifyou live a good life, wonderful things will come to you. This belief has always seemed to ring true in my life. I want to teach my child to appreciate everything that life has to offer. Sometimes even things that are less than I would wish for, or expect, end up having a positive outcome. He or she will learn about the beauty in all kinds of people. One of the greatest lessons I learned growing up was from my mother telling me "Isn't it wonderful that there are so many different types of people, different colors, different religions, different orientations. Wouldn't it be a boring world if everyone were the same?"
